Words

Words,
one way written;
yet spoken, a tact different.
But spoken, written
together the words flow,
verses forming, meaning calling.

Words form, aided
by a holding,
by a releasing,
gifting the paradox
in letting go.

In the form itself
fashioned they are, by
experience, by
love; given first
to me, so I now
may give to you.

Words,
calling for more,
more to serve,
to love, more,
in this work
calling me out.

In this work
are words;
from me, for you,
from you, for me.

In this work
is voice;
my voice, your voice,
together we answer.

Quiet and Clear

Distraught and struggling
an answer to find,
to a question not heard.

Too often, lonely lives
in the thick of action,
whirling activity draining
the energy of who you are.

A journey toward lonely,
not always alone,
such is met.

Your work demands,
in working, expectations
soar, with no control.
Letting go, foreign.

A question
beautifully asked
intent unobstructed
seats you in the moment.

Let go, into
the question
listen, from that
present seat.

Comfort it’s not about
to disturb, not meant,
but both will occur
as the question opens.

Trusting what stirs within,
voices blend
quietly, clearly.

Free to Serve

A question haunts;
Have I properly served in what you need?
Accountability beckons;
There is power no doubt in a voice freed.

No excuse are distractions of a day,
a voice silenced in the fray.

Refocused and ready I now stand,
authentically offering the serving hand.

An assertion made;
Important you are and free I remain.
A promise kept;
To serve you and the collective terrain.
