Words Between

In quiet faith
allowing
the voice of creation
the audience of my heart,
I trust
the flow
of spirits to my words.

Between the lifeline of a future
and the memory of a past,
I let go and reach out,
only to grasp back
toward the reality of now.

Love for what I do,
Love for whom I do it,
assurance nourished.

Such assurance,
arrogance absent.
Rather, such is
confident presence,
and present love.

Words gather love.
Words grow love.
And pressed between,
I must give words.
I must write for you.

Yes, It Matters

Good and right.
Right and good.
What does it matter?

It matters only
as it matters to you.

And matter it does
that you do what
is good and right,
and right and good,
in moments
where you find yourself
standing
in the middle
of presence,
with presence,
letting go.

About being right
it is not.
About doing good
it is not.

Being the truth
of who you are
guides the truth
of what you do.

Being,
and consistently holding
carefully and confidently
our humanness, together,
assures loving resonance.

Doing,
then placing such energy
in the flow,
unencumbered original self,
flows into generous freedom.

Good and right.
Right and good.
Does it really matter?

It matters really,
as it matters to you;
so it matters to us.

Letting go may be one of the most difficult things you will ever learn. The old confidence holds on as it wants to control.

An old confidence cannot feel the pull of desire or hear the voice of a larger purpose … becoming conscious brings you into the present with what is so important to you.
−Wading the Stream of Awareness
(An New Confidence Chapter)

An old confidence cannot feel the pull of desire because desire is buried under the shoulds and opinions of the world around us. This old confidence cannot hear the voice of a larger purpose as it keeps one imprisoned in past regret and future fear. Living in a new confidence you are fully aware of the futility in all attempts to control. We fool ourselves as we assign effective credit to ineffective belief and action.

A New Confidence is simple consciousness.

You are aware of who you really are and you embrace this reality. In this stream of awareness you begin to see your actions and behavior, your choices and decisions, in the simple light of what is good and right for you. You learn to do what is good and right and let go.

Doing anything in the spirit of a new confidence releases authentic energy into the flow. You let it go downstream to where intended while simply trusting any return to the ordained flow of it all.

Be you−the real you−and let go.

My desire is for you to embrace the power in who you are. Do you know what it takes to let go into this power; completely?

I cannot make this knowing complete for you. My calling is in simply being with you as you open to the flow−Wading the Stream of Awareness.

Tragically, and all too common, people become trapped seeking soul validation in a system. No matter what system that may be, you are accountable in your freedom. To be free is a wholeness−encompassing mind, heart, soul, and spirit. There is freedom indeed in letting go; letting go into your impact.

Increasingly I am feeling−in my whole being−the accountability I hold for those younger than I; those who will courageously lead us forward. Tara is one such leader.

We were brainstorming an event for women in leadership. Because of deep, implanted desire, I couldn’t help but share my passion about Desire & Intent. I asked Tara the desire and intent question.  Previously, we had talked about purpose where she declared herself a crusader. I sorted her 3 responses. Point 1 was descriptive of her desire, point 3 defined intent, and right there in the middle was the loving crusader.

Tara sent me a beautiful message about her experience that day. Yet I left the one blessed (twice-blessed as my friend Kathryn would say). I was able to give again through my own purposeful desire−allowing me to walk away with heart filled in hope for Tara and all those like her; each to whom I am blessed to be accountable in shared Impact.

Thank you Tara for allowing me a part. Lead us!
