Love – Being Faith

I know the work I do in this world
is good; of this I have no doubt.
Of doubt I do have—and therefore—
of doubt that has me,
I pray release.

This rhythm, this verse
of doubt is not about.
But about the faith
that erodes all doubt.

Of all doubt
I pray release
through a faith
growing ever more strong
in Love.

Careful I must be
I know.
Because to grow
stronger in Love
is not something
on a list to do.

Love
is done to me.
Love
is first given
to me.

Then … only then
is Love mine to give.

At such point
it is all about the being.

In such truth
I must trust.

To be with faith
is to flow.
To be in and with flow
is to be
faith itself.

Free and Joyful Expression

Please, love your work.
for in such love
of hand to till
more apt you’ll be
to love me.

Difficult? No it’s not,
to love in your work
when such application
is a flow natural to you
since the start.

Matter not what took you inside
to your true self.

For at the home of self,
love fires
story flows
generosity presents.

Opened by Trueness
freely and joyfully,
your expression invites me,
opens me,
into my own
true expression.

Shadow Strengths – Chapter Seven (Love)

My Desire & Intent is that you lovingly lead others to their own authentic confidence as you embrace the power of who you are and act on this Trueness!

Is your voice flowing in your work? Are you doing work that frees your voice? or stifles it?

“Interest creates energy.” −Kathryn Tucker Windham

Shannon’s interest was stirring something; the shadow was being disturbed by rhythmic streaks of light. The intermittent beams were energy determined to form Shannon’s luminous presence in all she would do.

Twelve years after our first engagement as coach and coachee, and two companies later for her, Shannon and I connected again for her growth. When we first met, working at the same company, she was very experienced and serving in a legal role. She had a deep interest in the personal development work my team and I were doing at the time.

Voice, your unique resonance, is the clearest statement of your brand of love as a leader.

The strength in the shadow is Generosity. Generosity−giving fully in and through your work−flows freely because of your Voice. Voice consciousness opens your eyes to the interest to energy connection−work that is real to you. And if real to you, generosity flows into the light of who you are.

In such real work, those you lead, influence, and serve benefit from your brand of love. Voice consciousness shows you real work and how you do what you choose to do. Even if particular pieces of work are assigned to you, you are free to choose how you do it: Voice suppressed or Voice fully engaged.

Choosing resonance is itself freeing. The darkest corners of shadow say love makes us weak. The truth of the light is that it’s the lack of love that weakens us. As I’ve said for a long time, and will continue for a bit longer; “It’s okay to love your work, and in your work, love.”

Shannon fully honored her connection of interest to energy. Her voice resonates in her work; work that is real to her. Like you and me, Shannon’s voice sometimes falters. But once Generosity is brought out of the shadow, handed over to your Voice, and allowed conscious flow, no one and no thing can hold back the power of your Love.

In Trueness you are free to love us in the balance of your strengths applied. In work you know as real, there is no priority higher than that of your love.

Transforming Trueness – Love (and in the Full Process We Become True)

And in the telling itself, a living performance,
into and through our own soul
we are transformed …
we become who we are.
−verse 7 of Transforming Trueness (Repose)

Each transition serves a larger transformation.

We are being transformed into who we really are.

And yes, who you really are is … Trueness.

This post closes my typical series of 7. I have hopefully safely navigated through the flow of chapters in Wading the Stream of Awareness.

I have been presenting the power of experience in the unfolding of one’s Trueness. So as I write this last piece, I first take you back through the flow of the previous 6 chapters; so you may see a full process toward Trueness.

Impact
The impact needed today comes through you as you learn to be then do. There is an order and a balance. As a leader, if you feel the tension of such order and balance, then you are standing in the right place.

Desire & Intent
Desire & Intent is a unique moment of opportunity to root a bit deeper into the soil of Trueness. The tension of transition indeed feels like suffering. It is not some thing being made different, it is You.

A New Confidence
A New Confidence is indeed an evolution. Confidence becomes new when your true self moves more clearly into your consciousness and takes precedence over the unconscious false self. Safe in Trueness, you are completely open to the connections.

Voice
In the connections, voice clears. You need the vibrations of these connections. If you walk with others and allow them to walk with you, then you come to know the art of holding in the deepest of reality.

Presence
It is in a deepening commitment to presence that you extend your reach in this world and deepen your impact. In presence you are emboldened to stretch beyond self-imposed limitations and see the transformative energy in congruent action.

Focus
To steadily walk in the art of holding you must allow yourself to be held by your own Trueness. We are released into the unfolding story by your wonderful ability to be with us long enough to understand and then release us into the larger story.

And now …

Love
In the work you do as a leader there is simply no priority higher than that of Love. In Trueness you are free to love us in the balance of your strengths applied.

Trust me, we want to know the story of the real you. And we are thrilled in the blending of our stories.

Transforming Trueness (Repose)

Transition, one then another
dispensed on a soul
is to an individual
proof simply one is living.

Suffering it may seem
and so suffering it is;
but impairing it is not.

For each transition
successive will be
when committed one is
to truth and reality.

And the deepest of reality,
an original endowment,
is the intricate truth
of who one really is.

Surprising it may seem
and so surprising it is;
but deceitful it cannot be.

For your Trueness
holds your soul well
while you free voice
in the story you must tell.

And in the telling itself, a living performance,
into and through our own soul
we are transformed …
we become who we are.

Through the Lens of Love

Forgive
Hold
See

A leadership rhythm at first it may not seem
but reckoning resist and open to the stream.

Listen first from inside.
Listen next outside.
Trust fully your inner terrain
and throughout from judgment refrain.

Forgive Everything
Impossible it may sound
threatening even it may be.
Please let go and be free.

Everything Belongs
A fact difficult to grasp
not impossible to hold.
And hold you must
as you would allow a humming bird
temporarily stunned
to regain presence and consciousness increase
and from your loving palm find her release.

See the Unfolding
Free from malice
ever learning hold and release
you now watch and wonder
free to be with what is present and true
at last at home with rhythmic trueness that is you.

Forgive
Hold
See

Our Inner Territory – A Path for Love

Leading us to build a story together is a leader’s love applied.

The story of your reach as a leader cannot be told out in the world until your story has footing in the inner territory.

My guess is that when people (in general) hear the word “love” they first think of romantic love−an outward expression. Love is so much more. Love is not captured by such narrow definition.

While Cherice may be relatively new in the field of management, she is not new to leadership. Does love guide her on the leadership path? I firmly believe this is so. As I’ve come to know her in our coaching relationship, I’ve learned how committed Cherice is to each individual. Her commitment is founded on a strong base of pure and simple respect.

In some recent development work, the goal Cherice set is indicative of the leader she is: Continue to build on the power of trust & provide an environment where each individual is safe to be open, honest, and contribute from their best.

Her path for love as a leader is forged as she builds successful relationships through the sharing of ideas and knowledge. Cherice’s desire and intent as a leader intersect into her impact as she actively leverages the learning she has had in diverse opportunities. She consciously does this as a way to both challenge and lead each individual to assume charge of their own learning.

It is her conscientious trek through her own inner territory that confirms and makes real her intentional impact in the outer accountability Cherice takes so seriously.
