I love music. My wife Becky loves music. She has a wonderful singing voice. I don’t. I sing hoping to eventually be not so bad. Becky sings from her love and is very talented. Her voice is music. Someone who can sing like Becky should sing. She should be heard.
The sound of the stream is its music. This music should be heard. The stream loves to sing and it loves to be heard. Why?
The stream was formed for a specific purpose within a larger story. The stream is confidently content in this purpose and flows through its course respectively. Its voice amplifies the joy of living purposefully and as a visitor it implores me to listen. In listening, in being in its presence, my heart is captured.
The stream has captured my heart, not as a combatant, but as a nurturer. The stream loves and has only good intended for all creatures coming into its presence. The stream’s intention is to restore.
While, through the stream, nature is restored in many important ways, I feel it personally reaching out to me. It asks me to be restored in original, intended purpose. In singing its own song of purpose, I am inspired to sing my song of purpose and to let this purpose flow through its course respectively.
